Buenas Nuevas is a classic English Breakfast black tea crafted with African and Indian black teas for a strong, rustic, and smooth morning cup. Full-bodied enough to stand beautifully with milk and sugar, this blend offers comforting depth, natural warmth, and a simple boldness that feels steady from the first sip.
Created for prayerful mornings and purpose-filled days, Buenas Nuevas is a reminder that God’s unfailing love meets us each morning and His good news carries us all day long.
Inspired by Psalm 143:8 NLT:
“Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.”
Brewing method:
Hot Brew
Use 3 grams of tea per 12 ounces of water.
Heat water to 200 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
Strain and enjoy plain, or add milk and sugar for a classic breakfast tea cup.
For a smoother cup, steep closer to 3 minutes.
For a stronger, bolder cup that stands up to milk and sugar, steep closer to 5 minutes.
Iced Tea Brew
Use 6 grams of tea per 12 ounces of water.
Heat water to 200 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
Steep for 5 minutes.
Strain, then pour over ice.
Add milk, honey, cane sugar, or a splash of cream if desired.
Cold Brew
Use 6 grams of tea per 12 ounces of cold filtered water.
Steep refrigerated for 8 to 12 hours.
Strain and serve over ice.
Cold brewing gives a smoother, less bitter cup with a naturally mellow finish.
